This special iteration of our annual competition&nbsp;will be brought to you by Staff from UNHQ (NY), UNICEF New York and various UN agencies in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we will deliver the greenest and most inclusive Games to date, whilst also encouraging and inspiring all staff to give their best towards achieving the UN&#8217;s most ambitious mandate in delivering the Sustainable Development Goals.&nbsp;2020 will usher in the final decade to fulfil our promise of achieving these goals in 2030. 2020 also marks the UN\u2019s 75<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;anniversary. With all that in mind, we hope to make the games something extraordinary this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The timing chosen for this year&#8217;s Games is based on the normal arrival of summer in Denmark &#8211; when the city is showcased at its best. Shortly after, Denmark will play host to the UEFA EURO 2020 (Union of European Football Associations) &#8211; European men&#8217;s championship finals in football (Soccer), therefore we can expect our destination to already be alive with sports. The weather and the EURO 2020 be some factors we also acknowledged the end of the commemoration period for Lent and Ramadan to make the event most suitable to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please stay tuned for more details on the programme.
