In Loving Memory of Daniel \u2018Danny\u2019 Bridi<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

President of the IAG Secretariat, Friend, Mentor, and kind Soul<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Daniel \u201cDanny\u201d Bridi, who left us peacefully this morning, 27 June 2025, in the company of his closest family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To all of us, Danny was more than a colleague. He was the heart and soul of the UN Inter-Agency Games. He was a mentor, a leader, and a gentleman. His contributions to the Games went far beyond the call of duty; he nurtured a community. Through his tireless dedication and unyielding passion, he transformed the IAG into what it is today, touching the lives of thousands across generations and organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His love for the Games was unparalleled, undisputed, and enduring. Through sport, Danny brought people together in the spirit of solidarity, fairness, kindness, and joy. He inspired all of us to strive not only for excellence on the field but for connection, dignity, and mutual respect off it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IAG family mourns a true champion of our values, yet even in our grief, we take comfort in the legacy he leaves behind. We will carry it forward with pride and gratitude, remembering always what he taught us: that what connects us matters far more than what separates us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danny leaves behind a loving family to whom he was endlessly devoted. The pride he held in his son Julian was boundless, and that pride will surely echo from his final resting place for eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will pray for him, and we will forever be grateful for his leadership, his friendship, and above all, his generous spirit. May his memory continue to unite and inspire us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
